I recently adopted a puppy from a freeing. The number there told me that whenever the puppy nibbles on our hands, we should squirt Listerine (plain) into his gateway with a spray decanter. This works like a overcome, but seems sadistic to me. She said it doesn’t anguish them, but they Execrate the mephitis…which seems to be stable, since the puppy doesn’t cry when I spray it. He good runs away and rolls around, taxing to get rid of the fetor. Still…it seems misguided. Has anybody else heard of this? Does anybody be acquainted with if it is disturbing? I firm abhor using it in my own bazoo (but again…it works).

Listerine works well, but it’s menacing if you get it in his eyes. I would try buying a spin-off called Freezing Apple from your city pet keep, and using that. It tastes bad and wont melancholy if you get it in their eyes on mistake. It’s a line humane training method. All it’s doing is ration him associate a bad drop/stink with bad behavior.
