MARIETTA, Ohio -- Olivia Smolder, 19, dreams of one day becoming a stylist to the stars like Patricia Participants, costume designer of "Sex in the City

"That would be my dream job," the Charleston exclusive said from her dorm room at Marietta College.

Until then, Smolder is satisfied dressing her friends and roommate from her own closet. Already, her talents are getting take heed of -- she recently won Charleston Town Center's Propose Style competition.

The search for the next fashionista started in October 2009 with two semi-finalists chosen out of a leisure pool of applicants during four rounds.

The top two trendsetters from each round were affirmed $150 mall gift cards to bring into being outfits that they thought best represented their familiar style for the season.

The public then voted online to select which semi-finalist would move forward to the final "Make Off" event Jan. 16.

With more than 1,200 votes, Smolder won Collect 3, where she put a feminine spin on the "rocker fashionable" trend, pairing a black leather jacket and raw-boned, gray jeans with a navy shirt adorned with rosettes.
